Our items are located inside the Peachtree Antique Centre in Phase II at 155 Mill Rd. in McDonough, Ga. Call, come by or send us pictures.
We sell and sometimes buy used furniture and items to be upscaled into chic, rustic and decorative items for the home and yard. We love to paint, sand wood, sew, and create wherever our mind takes us. We throw away nothing that can be reused and yes we love dumpster diving. We will buy used items that catch our whim and sometimes even trade if the deal appeals. We have something for everyone.

So I found this old dirty French provincial vanity. It was so dirty and slightly chippy. I didn’t like the old cream and gold that it was originally painted. So I decided to go a soft light blue shade and silver trim instead. After cleaning, repairing chipped spots and sanding it down I put on a primer and 2 coats of Heirloom Traditions paint and wallah! Hope you like it! I do!

I knew this piece could be saved. It is solid wood and was on its way to the dumpster when I saw it on the back of a truck at an estate sale with a load of similar condition furniture. It was beaten and scratched up, with dull brass handles. I hate brass, unless I can get it to patina with that turquoise look by soaking in vinegar and salt. I sanded, used filler in the deeper scratches, sanded some more. Then chose iron gate by heirloom traditions as my go to black paint. And gunmetal metallic antiquing by heirloom traditions for the handles. Turned out pretty nice I think.
