The Dumpster Saga continues: Part ??? of “Please Stop Using Our Dumpster.”

This was a new one. And quite possibly our biggest haul yet. A salon chair? A dentist chair? Honestly… we have no idea. What we do know is that it takes up THE. ENTIRE. DUMPSTER. 😅

Unfortunately, our cameras did not pick up the trespasser or a vehicle. But you can bet we’ll be tightening up security to help make sure this doesn’t happen again.

A friendly reminder: OUR DUMPSTER IS NOT FOR PUBLIC USE. And honestly, unless you’ve paid for the service, a dumpster probably isn’t yours to use either.
Not for a wrapper
Not for the TV you didn’t want to pay the $15 to the landfill for
And DEFINITELY not for whatever piece of commercial furniture this thing is

Illegal dumping is…illegal. And entering private property to do it? That’s trespassing, too.

So please… find your own dumpster. We’d really like to retire this series.

Not to overshadow yesterday’s post, but we had the privilege of doing something else pretty cool…

Yesterday, Tracey and Molly presented to the Audubon Middle School 6th Grade class to help them prepare for a fun project in Art & English!!

Without giving away too many spoilers; we spoke to them about listing, marketing, showing and closing on a property. Then, things got spooky and we gave them some tips for selling “haunted” houses like “The Conjuring House” & “The Villisca Axe Murder House” 👻 What a fun way to kick off October!

Some places are more than just a building - and The ARC and Bull Pin Restaurant is definitely one of them ❤️

They say it started as a simple idea. But really, it was a group of people who saw a need in our community and grew it into what you see here today!

It’s a safe spot for our kids to hang out, an affordable family night out, an accessible place for all ages to stay active, and it gives us somewhere local to go when we are looking for something to do!

That’s what we love about a place like this. It’s not just a facility, it’s a part of the foundation of a community.

So, a huge shout out to everyone who helped make the Audubon Recreation Center a reality and continues to make it a place for all of Audubon, and surrounding communities, to enjoy!
