Just completed a refinish on this rare Gumwood coffee table from Hawaii. The original "finish" was an epoxy resin that did not age well.

The beauty of the wood really shines through now.

It's a match!

Harder than you might think... We refinished this vintage Danish teak table and custom color matched it to our clients new modern hutch. With stain, you can always go darker but lighter is tricky. Wood like teak and mahogany are also notoriously challenging due to the red tones naturally found in the wood; but, that's when decades of experience come in handy.

It's also about sheen and texture... not just the color. One of the toughest parts of a successful table touch up is getting the sheen and texture to match up. Those long, wide, flat surfaces hide nothing from the light.
