Our Story

IKsun Teak is an Indonesian family-owned small business that promotes the work of artisan furniture makers in the Java province.

With over 15 years in making customised products for the hospitality industry as well as indoor and outdoor furniture, our commitment to hand-made craftsmanship and the world-renowned Indonesian art has helped us build a "fan base" beyond our home market that we are truly proud of and now includes furniture aficionados in Singapore, Europe and USA.

The use of natural materials is our core value and we are sensitive to illegal deforestation practises. We exclusively work with the finest grade of teak wood that bears the Government inspection, FSC, certifying both wood grade and compliant timber source.

The size of our business allow us to be flexible. This translates to our ability to work with our customers for bespoke and even exclusive artisan designs. Further, we have no minimum order quantity restrictions and are able to cater for mixed-content shipments in 20-45ft containers.
