Like many affected by the winter storms this past week, it is difficult for us to be closed today again. That said, we are fully in support of the strike. We will be at the shop today, catching up on custom projects that we've already committed to working on, receiving deliveries that got delayed due to the storms, and helping with projects and advice. It almost doesn't need saying, but there is no pressure to shop with us today, and we are here Saturday 9-2 as well. ❤️ We support our communities, neighbors, and humanity, and we urge all the do the same in whatever ways they can.

Like many around these parts, we're in 'how can we help?' mode, and this is a small way we can put our energy into helping. For now... as time goes on we know more ongoing help will be needed, and we're thinking of how else we can provide assistance and aid. We'll of course share whatever else we devise to let you know how you can help through us!

Instead of doing a summer sale, we're putting 20% of all furniture, art, decor, vintage sales toward flood relief in the areas affected-- monetary donations allowing the orgs we donate to to use them in the best daily evolving ways needed. We'll be first focusing on donating to and with our July run.

We haven't been posting and sharing much on social media these days. Heaviness and weariness abound (understatement). We hope this is one way we can divert feeling helpless into some kind of action ❤️

Keeping with first days of Spring feeling light and airy, welcoming of the earth and change as a breath of fresh air, we meet Kakelugn. Kakelugn is a new blue from which takes its name from the folkloric fires of Sweden, often decorated in this shade (look up traditional Kakelugn tiled stoves!!).
