Starting work on additions to our Halloween set. It's themed after Godric's Hollow from Harry Potter book 7, and this prop will hopefully resemble the statue that Harry and Hermione run into that looks like a WWII memorial until you walk up to it and it turns into a statue of the Potter family. The idea is to use a painted scrim on the outside of it and alter the lighting to reveal the statue inside.

Foam carved on my CNC, with wood filler patching the cracks. Ready for a faux granite paint job! I made up this person and their dates for my Godric's Hollow set since Hermione sees an Abbott tombstone in book 7.

Reminds me of a Powerpuff Girl! Turns out my stock is not the full 2" thick along part of the panel, so the engraving is not deep enough in parts. Gonna have to figure that out...
