Sometimes the most beautiful things happen when you least expect them.
Today, while I was getting a beautiful sterling silver necklace ready to list online, a sweet lady named Tammy stopped into Matter of Thyme.
As she looked around, she kept saying she felt like there was something here calling to her. Little did either of us know, that something would turn out to be the very necklace I was photographing!
She asked about it, and before I knew it, that necklace had found its new home. I even had the pleasure of putting it around her neck.
But what made this visit so special wasn't the sale. It was the conversation, the stories she shared about Jesus, and the little Jesus she gave me before she left. Such a thoughtful gift that truly touched my heart.
And what makes today even more special is that my very first customer this morning brought me little pamphlets about Jesus. Then, later in the day, Tammy came through my door, shared her love for Jesus, and left me with a little Jesus of my own.
Two different people, two unexpected gifts, and one beautiful reminder of how much more happens inside these walls than just buying and selling.
Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impression on your heart.
This is why I love my little shop. It's not always about what someone buys. Sometimes it's about the people God brings through your door and the connections you make along the way.
