Just because the cold has hit the Northern states, doesn't mean people have stopped working on their rides! Take this guy for example, a 1979 Chevy Malibu from New Mexico, needs a roll cage put in it, for next year's Drag Racin. So he called me up to cut it out, and I said, I could do it right after Thanksgiving. 😀😀. So today I went and cut it out and cleaned up the pinch weld area too! Can't wait to see what it will look like, with the new roll cage!! 😎😎😎. Thanks for your Business Jim!

I got a phone call last week from a guy with a 77 Corvette, and he was telling me how his neighbors tree fell on his Corvette!! 😣😣😣
The neighbor wouldn't do anything about it, so he contacted his insurance company to get the windshield replaced. The problem is, his insurance company couldn't find anybody that wanted to do it! Big Shock eh? 🙄🙄🙄
When he reached out to me, I even struggled at showing interest in it. 🤣🤣🙄🙄. Anyway, I did the windshield today, and it was a bunch of work!! 🙄🙄

Today I am working on a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner, which needs it's windshield and back glass pulled out, to get it ready for a new paint job! It's April, and he is just sending it off to the Body Shop here shortly, so he probably won't get this back till the winter of 2022? When he does get it back, I'll be there helping him put the glass back in! Thanks for your Business Brian! It was fun talking to you. 😎😎

Today's windshield replacement, was up in Stanchfield Minnesota, which is north of me about an hour... This is Jim's 1970 Ford Torino GT, which he has owned since 1975, when he was in High School. He worked at a Country Club in West St. Paul, as a gopher of sorts!? Anyway, the original owner was selling the Torino, and he snapped it up for about 1,600.00 dollars!! Talk about Freakin WoW eh!?? 😳😳 This Torino has every option that Ford offered that year, here's what I know and what I saw. A 429 4BBL, with a close ratio 4 speed behind that, and a Detroit Locker 9 inch, with a 3.91 posi outback. Talk about Rock-N-Roll eh!! It had a complete restoration about a dozen years ago, and it is still as fresh as it was when it rolled out of the Ford Dealership 1970!! I had a lot of fun listening to Jim's stories from days gone by, in good Ol' West St Paul! Thanks for your Business Jim!! I look forward to hearing from you again. This is Keith's 1957 Plymouth Fury, which needed a windshield, shortly after he brought it home from storage this year. His Father bought this Fury over 40 years ago, and then gave it to his son, about 3 years ago, because he wasn't able to drive it anymore. Since then, Keith has cleaned up quite a few things on it to make the driveability better. The windshield, being a difficult one to find, and then install, made this job very trying. But here are some pictures of today's adventure....

Thanks to Scott Monette for this job tonight at his house. I love when my friends hook me up with the Companies that they work for! I've done a Lot of glass for this company, and they did the concrete driveway and sidewalk on the front of my shop addition. It's nice working with local Companies.

Back to the 50's is back on, and it's this weekend! Here's another happy customer for this weekend!! It took a Lot of work to get this one done, but he didn't care! He's been building this 1960 VW Bug for awhile now, and it only gets longer when people promise you your stuff to be done on time, and it isn't! Todd is pleased that we got the glass to fit, for the most part, the first time around. The door glasses were a bit of bu**er, pardon the pun eh? LoL 😂. Here's Todd's 1960 VW Bug.
