A little throwback to a behind-the-scenes look at an exciting project!

A while back, some members of our team joined Greater Cincinnati SMPS for a hard hat tour of Xavier University’s new College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a furniture partner on the project, we loved getting an inside look at the progress and seeing how everything is coming together!

With construction now more than halfway complete and the inaugural class arriving in fall 2027, we’re excited to see this space take shape and proud to play a part in bringing it to life.

Thank you to GCSMPS for organizing a great tour!

Last Friday, our Cincinnati team braved the questionable weather and headed down to KAREfarm to help prepare for this past weekend’s grief retreat.

This marked our fifth consecutive year volunteering at KAREfarm, and every year, we’re reminded why this place is so special. We’re continually inspired by how much the organization has grown and, most importantly, by the stories shared about KAREfarm's impact on those navigating loss. What began as a place to host grief retreats has become a true sanctuary for people on their healing journey.

We’re grateful to spend a day lending a hand, hearing the stories behind KAREfarm’s mission, and supporting the incredible work they do to bring healing, hope, and connection to those experiencing grief. ❣️👐

Our Cincinnati designer, Jillian Shive, is next up in our Product Spotlight series with her favorite product in our Cincinnati showroom: Kithara by David Edward. ✨

Located in our executive lounge, Kithara brings an elevated, residential-inspired feel to the space. Jillian loves the rich leather upholstery (which just so happens to match her boots!), paired with the natural walnut frame, beautiful stitching, and thoughtful craftsmanship the David Edward brand is known for.

The name Kithara comes from an ancient Greek stringed instrument of the same name. Designed by Brad Ascalon, Kithara's sculptural wood frame and carefully considered details draw parallels between music and design, using form, materials, and composition to create an experience that resonates.

From the sofa's continuous seat to its comfortable proportions and optional cocktail table, every detail balances form and function—making it a statement piece that's just as inviting to sit in as it is eye-catching.

Want to see what makes Kithara so special? Stop by our Cincinnati showroom and experience it for yourself!

P.S. Did you know Jillian helped bring our executive lounge vision to life during the showroom renovation, from pitching the concept to selecting the upholstery?

Did you know cancer in children and adolescents is the leading cause of death by disease after infancy among children in the United States, and that childhood cancer treatments are often vastly underfunded compared to adult cancers?

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and on September 6, the Reds, Brewers, and MLB came together to recognize six Champions of Courage from CancerFree KIDS with a special lap around the bases.

We're proud to partner with CancerFree KIDS through the 100 Mile Challenge, and our owner, Maggie Cron, was honored to join the Reds and Brewers players on the field, where she cheered on and high-fived the kids as they ran the bases.

The strength of these children, their families, and others in treatment or recovery is incredible, and we're proud to do our part in raising awareness about childhood cancer and the urgent need for better, gentler treatments. 💛🎗️
