Communities along the Whistlestop Tour route will have the opportunity to celebrate this once-in-a-generation event by viewing the tree, meeting the team transporting it across the country, signing the official banner that will accompany the tree to Washington, D.C., and learning more about Idaho's rich forestry heritage.

Join us Friday, October 30 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at our Lewiston mill for a large community celebration where you can see the tree and help us honor the mill turning 100!

Welcome home! Moving into a new home is an exciting event in our lives. It is a time of new beginnings and making a lifetime of memories. When you think about it, you can’t cross the threshold of any home without encountering recyclable, renewable and beautiful wood products. It’s in the door, the floor, the staircase, the cupboards, the window frames and the furniture. Wood was in the paper signing at the title company and in the boxes carrying treasured belongings. October is the month when we celebrate wood products and the hardworking men and women who make them possible. Idaho wood products are made from timber that’s harvested sustainably.
