Well guys.... this time the custom order was for me! This vintage mid century modern dresser came to me with laminate glued to the top and an amber shellac finish that had seen better days.

Acetone, a lot of sanding, walnut stain, and a few coats of poly later, I just could not let it go!

This piece found it's new home just yards from my shop. 😆 I may have a bit of a furniture collection problem. 😬

I just couldn't not share this gorgeous piece with you all!

Something crazy has happened at Blondes and Brushes…

WE ARE CAUGHT UP ON CUSTOM ORDERS. 😳👏

Yes, you read that right. The paint brushes have been cleaned, the furniture pile is under control, and for a brief moment… we know what a clear schedule feels like. 😂🖌️

(If you’ve followed us for a while, you know this is a rare event — basically a furniture refinisher’s version of spotting a unicorn. 🤣)

So what does this mean for you?

✨ We’re BOOKING NEW CUSTOM ORDERS! ✨

Have a piece hiding in your garage? A family heirloom that needs some love? A Marketplace find that needs a glow-up? Send it our way!

Another custom ordered refinished family table that gets to be the centerpiece of more family fun!
This piece had quite a bit of wear and pily flaking, but we took care of it!
