Bittersweet news to share. We have decided not to pursue a new workshop location and we are closing our doors for good! Sam and I are both looking forward to whatever else life has in store for us. Thank you to the over 900 customers and clients who supported us over the last 6.5 years, and to the coworkers and friends with whom we shared this adventure. Cannon Hill Woodworking, as of today, does not exist! So any communications will likely not be seen. Enjoy the summer! Farewell and Thank You!

Instant classic! Gorgeous solid walnut dining table delivered to Somerville. It was so great working with Sarah and the team at Sarah Cole Interiors. I know the space isn’t quite done. They plan to change the light fixture. But it is already looking really beautiful.

The biggest round table we have ever made! 96” diameter table made from four incredible Claro walnut slabs with a very cool curved pedestal base that is also super functional. This masterpiece was engineered by Sam and Mark and delivered a few weeks ago to Wellesley. It fit through the front door by about 1” (yes, we did measure beforehand!) Happy holidays!

‘Tis the season!

Wow! You just don’t see 12 foot afromosia table tops every day! This is our second huge afromosia table in the past year and they have both been amazing and HEAVY! Kudos to our great clientele who are willing to entrust us with these one of a kind projects. This table now resides in Chestnut Hill.

Beacon Hill delivery of a beautiful Bibolo (aka African walnut) slab table. 2.5” thick. Super clean and clear wood. This was truly a special piece. We made a coffee table and an entry bench. Great job on the build by Mark.

Stunning English Elm bookmatch with our unique and functional Whitten base which incorporates English elm and steel. Jamaica Plain, Boston- newly remodeled home that looks so good! This table looks just right in this space. A lot of careful planning and collaboration on this project. It also has two large extensions for a total length of 11 feet. Great clients. We also made them a maple slab desk.

Stunning walnut slab table cut to a rectangle with 3” corner radii delivered yesterday to this beautifully and conscientiously design home in Weston. Great working with Dane and Caitlin from slab selection, through CAD and physical templating, through layout and build. The bases are from .

Oak table with a custom coloration and extensions delivered to Westport, MA last week. All told, about 11’ long. Curved treated base. Sturdy and functional desitn. Beautiful color. Great working with on this project. They are so on the ball and have a great eye.

Beautiful walnut bookmatch with same slab extensions delivered to Concord recently. It was a pleasure working with Vivian . Lots of careful planning and ex*****on from slab selection, through custom shaping of the bases, through finish. It should look like it belongs in the space and like it’s always been there, and in order to get there an unbelievable amount of work is put in. Great job by Dave on the build.
