Black Timber Furniture We have been building, hand-crafted, heirloom, furniture in Montana since 2010! For over 20 years Todd built furniture for his friends and family.

Todd committed over 20 years of his life to the US Army and finally decided to settle down with his family in Bozeman, Montana. In 2010, two local furniture manufacturers were forced to close their doors. After reviewing these business plans and making some adjustments it was decided there was still a demand for handcrafted heirloom quality furniture. Being an optimistic, hardworking person he decided to form Black Timber Furniture Company of Montana. Black Timber Furniture Company of Montana is located just off of I-90 in Belgrade, Montana (10 miles west of Bozeman, Montana). We do not have a large inventory in our show room since all of our furniture is made-to-order. We would be happy to show you pieces of furniture in production to show you how quality furniture is made. Satisfying our customers is our number one priority while in a close second is providing heirloom quality furniture that will last a lifetime. We are honored to have our furniture in homes across America and consider it a privilege to provide these products. Our furniture is made with pride in Montana by Montanans and the lumber we use is harvested from sustainable forests from the Midwest. Now that you know all of this about us who else would you want building your furniture?

Designed by You. Built by Us.

This red oak nightstand is a perfect example of what custom furniture is all about. Our customers came into the showroom, sat down with our CAD drafter, and designed the piece themselves from the ground up.

The result is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind nightstand that was made specifically for their home and their style.

This is what we love to do—sit down together, dream up an idea, work through the details, and turn it into something real. Custom furniture means you don't have to settle for what's already out there. We get to design it together.

Natural edges and rich, warm tones make this table the centerpiece without needing much else. The live edge keeps the wood's natural character on display, giving each table its own unique style.

A dining set made to fit the way you live. Mix benches, wooden chairs, and upholstered seating to create a look that feels collected rather than a perfect set. Different styles allow you to put together a dining space that feels like your own.
