Fall is in the air and the pumpkins are here! 🎃

09/26/2026

It’s pumpkin 🎃 time and fall is in the air!

We harvested and re-stocked today with various sizes, shapes, and colors to choose from. There’s something for everyone, smooth, bumpy, tall, squatty, carvable, and edible.

There are some blue heirloom Jarrahdale’s, which are a top choice for cooking and have a long storage life.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who has patronized the veggie wagon. Your support brings us back each year.

🌱 Sown here, grown here.

*Updates after harvesting today* Assorted tomatoes (cherry size, medium, and slicers), cucumbers, Anaheim chiles, ancho poblanos, jalapeños, sweet banana peppers, okra, and yellow squash.

For reintroduction, we grow first for our family with organic practices, we donate to those in need, and run a business with our surplus. We’re always eager to talk gardening, farming, and all things stewardship.

Everything we grow is sown and harvested by our hands. It travels less than 0.5 miles from soil to stand. 🌱 We strive to reduce waste and petroleum inputs.

Know your farmer and shop truly local. 👩‍🌾

p.s. We don’t have lettuce, but we hear Mayfair Farm does in Clearbrook. They’re open Wednesday’s and Saturday’s 9-1. Freight Station Farmers Market.

😌 No filters on these photos - just natural beauty.

We’re starting to harvest summer crops and hope to be able to offer some for sale soon. We’ll post updates and put a sign on the wagon in advance.

We hope to offer cucumbers of a few varieties and perhaps some yellow and white onions. They’ll make a delicious cucumber salad with vinegar. 🥒 🧅

Beets and green beans are a maybe - we’ll see how harvest pans out. Lacinato kale (dinosaur) may be available too.

Cut flowers are new this year and we hope to have some bouquets available.

Tomatoes are just starting to ripen and soon we’ll be in full “mostly tomatoes” mode. 🍅

We also grew some poblano and jalapeño peppers this year for your salsa recipes.
