WHY HOUSE OF RAD?

A sign maker surrounded by artists? Seemed pretty appropriate.

House of Rad is a grassroots, artist-run creative collective and independent art incubator in Milwaukee bringing artists, designers, makers and other creative people together under one roof. That environment fits CabinFever Studios. It's a place where ideas cross paths, skills get shared and strange projects have a chance to become real things.

We're excited to become part of it.

IT STARTED IN A HOME STUDIO. NOW IT'S GROWING BEYOND IT.

Cabin Fever Studios started as a small home-based studio in Burlington. A few machines. A lot of material. A whole lot of ideas. And a stubborn belief that signs should be more than something a business simply has to buy.

They should have personality. They should be well made. They should make people stop and look. That little studio has grown. Now we're expanding into Milwaukee without losing the Burlington roots that got us here.

Same CabinFever Studio. Bigger footprint.

WHY MILWAUKEE?

Milwaukee was Lynn's original home. It is full of people who make things. Artists. Designers. Fabricators. Makers. Small businesses. Musicians. Entrepreneurs. People with ideas who want to build it.
That's the kind of community CabinFever Studio belongs in.
House of Rad gives CabinFever Studio an opportunity to become part of that creative ecosystem while continuing the work and relationships built in Burlington.
We're not choosing Burlington or Milwaukee. We're building something that connects both.

Everyone loves a good Sunday funday. Lynn Drescher the owners home for 13 years was in the city of Milwaukee and she loved it until her marriage in 2023 took her to Burlington. Now that she is back in town she is looking forward to all the amazing restaurants shes missed. Like , in Bayview, and on Old World Third St. To all my Milwaukee friends what restaurant do I definitely need to try?

ROOTED IN BURLINGTON. GROWING IN MILWAUKEE.

CabinFever Studios is expanding.

In late 2026/ early 2027, CabinFever Studios will establish a new creative home at House of Rad in Milwaukee, while continuing to serve Burlington and the surrounding Southeastern Wisconsin community.
It's about growing the CabinFever Studios footprint, building new creative relationships, and connecting two communities through design, craftsmanship and a shared love of making things.
Burlington is part of our roots. Milwaukee is part of what's next.
More room. More collaboration. More CabinFever Studios.

The name Cabin Fever Studios was born while paddling hundreds of miles through Wisconsin's lakes and rivers each summer. Those quiet miles became a time for thinking, praying, dreaming, and imagining a different kind of sign company—one built around people, creativity, and genuine relationships.

After 22 years of working for someone else, I launched Cabin Fever Studios in 2024. Since then, I've been focused on creating an easier, more personal sign-buying experience for businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout Wisconsin.

Because the best signs don't happen behind a screen—they happen in the real world, through conversations, ideas, and connections. That's why I believe in meeting people where they are and helping bring their vision to life.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
