A family-owned antiques and collectibles store. Located in Burnsville, NC

Hammond Antiques is a family-owned business located at 201 West Main Street, Burnsville, N.C., an easy 40-minute drive from Asheville. The store is a 30,000 square foot three-story building full of wonderful unique antiques and oddities including furniture, lamps, statues and figurines, old toys, clocks, mirrors, tools, costume and silver and gold jewelry and dishware. There is also an art gallery of works by local artists for sale and the famous "Teapot Room" filled with unique teapots of all shapes and sizes from around the world! We also offer upholstery services, lamp repair, and expert furniture restoration/repair.

Sometimes Facebook Marketplace brings out the worst in people, and it sure did this time, so we took the van ad down.

So if you or anyone you know is interested in purchasing our van:

Come see the van at Hammond Antiques, 201 West Main St in Burnsville, Monday thru Saturday, 10am - 5pm, or in the evenings by appointment only.

The title is clear. We've owned the van for 17 years. It has a lot of issues - it is definitely a project van. It ran the last time we drove it, but that has honestly been a while.

So just come check it out for yourself. We'll even tell you some stories of its awesome Yancey County adventures!

We are so excited for The Old Timey Fall Festival ! We love all things old, obviously, 😊 and this year's extra-special event is two days, Friday AND Saturday, September 25th and 26th!

Please accept our sincerest apologies; we were unexpectedly unable to open today do to an unavoidable circumstance. If you came by and were (understandably) bewildered, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We will reopen tomorrow, Saturday August 22, for our regular hours (10am - 5pm). Hammond Antiques is a family owned business! Nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, daughters, sons, aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers-in-law… Everyone has worked here! We believe in family. Our business neighbors are our friends. We believe in love. We believe in acceptance. We are creative people. We love our community. We try to price our items within reach although many of them are very vintage very very old items that would probably cost way more somewhere else.
