Fresh out of the kiln-- 4/4 Texas Pecan lumber.

Some of these boards will make their way to the showroom while others will be photographed and listed on our website as Whole Log Lumber Packs, perfect for projects that call for cohesive character and grain.

There is still a little more work to do - next up, this lumber heads to our facing and planing line.

Character like this can’t be manufactured.

This bookmatched set of 4/4 Pecan boards has old bullets embedded in the wood, creating a truly one-of-a-kind detail. It makes you wonder about the story behind them—maybe there was a squirrel sitting on a branch there once.
For furniture makers looking to create something truly distinctive, it’s details like these that turn a beautiful piece of furniture into a conversation piece.

We are thrilled to unveil the latest slab from the legendary “Brenham Behemoth” Pecan log.

Seeing a live-edge slab of this scale in person is a completely different experience—its sheer size makes everything else in the room look small. The newest slab is now officially on display, and we invite you to stop by our showroom to see this showstopping work of nature for yourself.

We laid out this bookmatched set of 16' Texas Pecan slabs so our customer could review the grain, movement, and natural character alongside their client to ensure they selected the right pair for a large conference table project.

Once selected, both slabs were planed to the same final thickness, and are headed to the Houston area.

Beautiful natural color, distinctive spalting, and plenty of character from board to board.

Stop by the showroom and take a look through the new stack.

Sometimes the light hits just right.

As we loaded this 4/4 heartwood Texas Pecan into a customer’s trailer, the sunlight brought out the rich color and natural variation of the unfinished boards.
This material is headed for a custom cabinetry project, where that character will become part of the finished space.

For years, two gorgeous burled cedar elm slabs from the same log were part of our showroom. The tree came down nearby in Del Valle during the construction of Highway 130, and the slabs quickly became favorites with countless customers who stopped to admire them—and more than a few who nearly took one home.

The last slab eventually found its way into a collaboration with Slate Auto and our longtime client Outer Woods. Seeing a piece of wood that so many people had admired over the years become part of something new was pretty special—and it turned out every bit as beautiful as we imagined.

We kiln dry our material to a 6–8% moisture content. Luke, on the other hand, is trending higher than that. He is always bound to find an adventure, rain or shine.

For those looking for a distinctive piece of walnut to anchor a custom design, our current inventory could have just the piece you’re looking for.

Yesterday, our team flattened and planed another run of 4/4 Texas Pecan lumber—the stacks in our showroom have been refreshed with some of these gorgeous boards.
There are some especially nice boards in this batch, so they may not stay in the stacks for long.
