UNC Kasama is pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Charity Gala: Paraiso held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 in Frank Porter Graham Student Union in the Great Hall. Meaning “Paradise” in Tagalog, we invite you on a weekend getaway of dinner and performances in support of our beneficiary, Childhope Philippines. is a NGO based in the Philippines that works to promote the welfare, uphold, and protect children’s rights particularly children in Manila street situations. All proceeds from our Gala will be donated in support of Childhope Philippines’ cause.

As a first-year at UNC, I was scared that I would not be able to find my community, but Kasama has made me feel at home here. I know that everyone who joins will not only find your best friends here, but also make lifelong memories!”
