Round 2 - The recovery!

Not always does everything go as planned, the important thing is we learn to fail forward only getting better every time… this is how we measure success. Cheers!

This drawer front might look simple, but there was a lot of intention behind it.

I added a thin beveled profile to echo the tabletop and tapered legs, keep the detail understated, and flow cleanly into the brass canted handle — all while refining my CNC workflow and keeping production linear and repeatable.

Maker note: this profile is cut in a single CNC operation using the ATC, which helps reduce setup changes, improves consistency, and keeps the process efficient as I continue dialing in my toolpaths and programming.

It’s a small detail, but it frames the piece without stealing attention from the herringbone top.

Every family deserves a table that feels like home.
A place for grace before meals, birthday candles, homework moments, deep talks, and “just one more story” nights.

Each of these heirloom tables is handcrafted from solid, American-sourced hardwoods — built one at a time, with purpose, integrity, and craftsmanship you can feel the moment you sit down.

From ambrosia maple to rustic white oak to rich walnut, your forever table is waiting…
Made for real families.
Made to last for generations.
Made right here in the USA. 🇺🇸

If one of these spoke to your heart, DM me for details — I’d love to help you design the table your family will gather around for years to come. 🤍🪵

Ahhh sanding… the rabbit hole where time disappears, arms get a free workout, and you swear you’ll stop after ‘just one more pass.’ 👀

Truth is, woodworking doesn’t always need to be flawless. Sometimes ‘done’ beats ‘perfect’ — because the real perfection is sitting back with a cold drink, watching a sunset smoother than anything I could ever hit with 320 grit. 🌅🍻

Who else has gotten lost in sanding purgatory? Drop your funniest ‘just one more pass’ story below!
