Take a Sneak Peek at the king size bed-frame we're installing for a couple out of Florida who wanted a rustic barnwood look in their mountain home. Barn-wood being high in demand at the moment and hard to find we had to use a higher grade wood (walnut) but were still able to give the customer the style they were looking for!

This piece is still in the process of being completed, The design that will sit on the face of the footer and headboard will be a green piece of decorative trim. The green piece of wood has some historical significance to the Banner Elk area. For those that are familiar with Grandfather Mountain's foot bridge these green pieces of trim that we are installing this week came off the original bridge constructed in 1952.

Stay tuned for the finsihed product images!

Here's a look at Dave Fricker and our shop hand holding up his finished oak mantle. This piece of Solid Oak came off a mountain property and is over 200 years old. Wanting to preserve the natural beauty of the wood the customer chose a no stain option and opted for a poly finish. We think it turned out beautiful!
