I used to paint canvases and started to combine that with my knowledge of construction from my full time job to start flipping furniture. Painting is an escape for me and my best source of therapy, and it’s even more rewarding to give a tired and worn piece of furniture some love and save it from being thrown away!

Gloss and metallics to “make it shine”🤩 This challenge was out of my comfort zone, but now this goes down as one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever done!! I love doing the furniture flip challenges because they always become a fave of mine, and I love seeing everyone else’s takes. Love how this MCM dresses *actually* looks modern now!! What’s your fave, glossy or metallic?

EXCITING NEWS!!!
I’ve been a little MIA on here for a bit for a lot of things happening behind scenes. Charlotte has been a dream to us and has been everything and more the last 4 years we’ve been here. We have made the best of friends who have become family, and some of the best memories, from getting our first dog together, getting engaged then married, and starting New Dey Design.
But, it’s time to get back to the land of the Chiefs, Wildcats, and more importantly, family. We’re moving to Kansas City!!!!! So KC friends, hit me up with some furniture requests, can’t wait to serve you!! (But also hmu with all the best thrift stores)

Always a dream to do a Jacobean buffet and it did not disappoint😍 and got to keep that beautiful wood top regardless of the burn marks from an iron!! Were you here through the whole process? Also the color shenanigans?😅
I originally pictured Heavenly from , but ended up making my own custom color with Carolina Clay, Blue Moon, and Battalion!
Also first time using Ole Smokey Gel Stains and they are a dream!!!

Mirror flip✨ Some coats of White Owl by and Rub N Buff goes a long way! Painted to match my last piece (textured white cabinet) as they are going in the same dining room. What do you think? Do you prefer the before or after?

Here she is!! This cabinet has gone through a FULL transformation and is one of my absolute favorite flips I’ve done to date🤍 I really challenged myself to add a bunch of texture to this piece and do something I’ve never seen done before and I’m so happy that I did!!
