Today we completed two jobs. One went smoothly, and one didn’t go the way we expect of ourselves.
At Skedaddle On Demand Delivery, we take professionalism seriously—every call, every text, every doorstep interaction, every single day. We also believe in being honest: we’re human, and sometimes we make mistakes. What matters most is what we do next.
On one of today’s deliveries, we accidentally left behind a small item at the customer’s home. That’s on us. It shouldn’t have happened, and we apologized as soon as we realized it. We immediately offered to come back and correct it, because that’s what accountability looks like. In this case, the customer chose not to have us return—and we respect that decision.
Our company isn’t built on claiming perfection. It’s built on doing the job the right way, treating people with respect, and going above and beyond when something needs to be corrected. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to, and that’s the standard our customers deserve.
I also want to say this plainly: tough days don’t just “roll off” for us. They affect our whole team—especially me as the owner and CEO—because we care deeply about our reputation and the people we serve. We take pride in what we do, and when something doesn’t land the way we intended, we feel it. Then we get back to work, tighten the process, and keep showing up with integrity.
If you’ve ever trusted us with something heavy, delicate, or one-of-a-kind—thank you. Your trust means everything. And if we ever fall short, know this: we will communicate, we will own it, and we will work hard to make it right.

“Heavy, delicate, or one-of-a-kind — we’ve got you covered.”
**We’re not perfect—but we are accountable, and we are committed to doing right by people.**
