Custom bed with caning coming up for our three year old! Waiting on some final finish coats and then begins the fun of transitioning out of the crib! Any tips??

Completed some backyard renovations this summer - can’t say enough about and their hard work making this backyard become functional (and dry!). Mantle on the fireplace is from and David rough hand-planed it using tools that were once his uncle’s. The andirons are antique - easily 100 years old - and were also passed down through the generations on Emily’s side of the family. We can’t wait for s’mores and friends around the fire soon!

This table went home today! What a fun project to make - a new pedestal base design, a custom top to fit their space, and extra finishing coats to help protect it! ✨

It’s a table, but it’s more than that. It’s a spot to gather, to ask your kids to tell you about the high points of their day. It’s a place to decorate cookies, dye eggs, do puzzles, share wine and meals and come together. So here’s to all of those - may the world be a little safer here, around this table... we all need that these days. Thank you for trusting us with such a special spot in your home! 💛

Working on a custom desk for one of our favorite local businesses, this afternoon! Cute sidekick loves dolls as much as building things and is asking to help nail as I type 💛🔨

David built a custom, solid oak table for the smallest DHC fans! This kids table is possibly his favorite project to date - near-perfectionism combined with thoughtful construction to make disassembly/reassembly the easiest kids toy/furniture you’ll ever put together. Made locally in Charlotte, NC.
