Reverie Antiques

Well, as many of you have heard, we had a water issue (purely accidental) a couple of days ago Mercantile at the Ridge and some booths were flooded, including mine. Some took in more water than others, so it has been a pretty large cleanup operation going on since then. I’ll have to say, the management did a wonderful job helping those of us who were not allowed inside until today and the vendors have had positive dispositions even though it has been challenging. Vendors were helping each other and being generous and supportive. This was a surprise for sure, but our vendors handled it with poise and grace. That being said, the Mercantile will reopen tomorrow, so come check us out!

I added a few lovelies from my recent sourcing trip in Charleston, SC… a beautiful English print from the early 1800’s, a vintage pink lamp, and the cutest vintage green rattan mirror. A really nice American antique combo featuring a secretary and bookshelf. From the mid 1800’s, and featuring glazed glass, this would be a show stopper in your home. Come on by to aisle 7 Mercantile at the Ridge and check it out!

I added some nautical rope from an old boat in France today on aisle 7. When I was on my buying trip to Belgium and France and bought this rope, I think I puzzled my fellow shopping peers ☺️ However, I envisioned this rope would look fantastic on a boat or part of swimming pool decor. It comes in 50 foot lengths and I have one in a 20 foot length.

Now available on aisle 7 is an English oak book rest from the late 19th century. It has lovely barley twist accents with heart cutouts on each side.

I added a lovely antique French grain bin with beautiful floral carvings today on aisle 7 at the Mercantile at the Ridge. The lid opens up for storage and as with most antique oak pieces, is very solid. Come visit us open 7 days a week.
