I have been creating with my journey loom. As I weave I find myself to be very relaxed. I have been reading more about coloring and doodling, and how research is showing benefits tithe brain. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/13/coloring-for-stress_n_5975832.html.As I read this I believe this is what is happening when I weave on my journey loom. I love to color, but I find myself drawn to "mindful weaving" through my journey loom, because I love feeling the fibers and ribbons and to play with what happens when the interact. I am developing a " mindful weaving" class so we can explore this together. Let me know your thoughts,
Coloring Isn't Just For Kids. It Can Actually Help Adults Combat Stress. Coloring is an activity that we tend to associate with children. As we grow older, we put aside our crayons and colored pencils in favor of more respectable writing utensils like pens and highlighters
