Kitchen banquettes are tons of fun to design and build. Besides plenty of seating there is loads of storage underneath. Four deep drawers provide room to tuck away all kinds of items you don’t use daily.

We don’t often get to use cherry for our projects so we were pumped when our client requested cherry. By wrapping the walls with floating shelves, combined with the fireplace and comfy couch, this basement is now a next-level lounge space.

Custom window/dining bench. Five deep drawers with heavy duty under mount drawer slides will provide tons of storage while keeping things tidy.
We used red oak, with Dark Walnut stain, to give a depth to the wood that clear finish alone wouldn’t provide.

We know what you’re thinking: “Why would they remove a fireplace?!” Although we’re big fans of fireplaces too, it had seen better days and wasn’t getting much use. Our client needed more storage and seating, designed to match the rest of their home - and we made it happen!
