Here is a project that I built for a long time friend, Lisa Hoffman of Evanston. She wanted to change a spare bedroom to a Meditation room. I painted the walls, installed tile around the fireplace and hearth. I also designed and built the mantelpiece over the fireplace from hand-selected white oak. The oak mantel is 9'-2" x 3" x 5" with a secret drawer at one end.
