Divide a large room into smaller zones, adding structure, privacy, and acoustic separation wherever you need it.
And when the room needs to change, just reconfigure the Nooks.

The Nook Shelter is designed to be our most flexible space. With no floor or threshold, it’s easy to roll, walk, or move straight in.
Add the furniture you need, take out what you don’t, and move the Shelter around as your space changes.

Students don’t all focus, regulate, or learn the same way. Their spaces shouldn’t expect them to.

What’s more flexible than an International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) Certified Autism Resource that can move across campus depending on when and where it’s needed?

For students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), the Solo 76 can create a consistent place for focus, testing, online learning, or sensory breaks. And because it’s mobile, it moves with a student’s needs, bringing that support throughout the school.

Nook moves with you and adapts to your needs throughout the day.
A quiet place to focus. A reset space between meetings. Somewhere for testing, a private call, one-on-one support, or a break from a busy environment.
Nooks create places for focus, regulation, and well-being without rebuilding the room.

We love seeing Nooks made possible through grants like this.
Kilgore Public Library’s new Nooks were funded through the Pizza Hut Foundation’s Slice of Literacy community grant, helping bring more spaces for focus, regulation, and quiet to the people who need them.
Our Nook Pods were unveiled yesterday! They will be available for patron use soon. Thank you to Pizza Hut Foundation's Slice of Literacy community grant for making this possible! 🍕

Good design doesn’t ask everyone to enter a space the same way. It simply makes room.
For wheels. For canes. For strollers. For different bodies, different needs, different ways of moving through the world.
That’s the thinking behind Nook. Design for the edges, and the center gets better too.

How often do our spaces accommodate different needs? And how easy is it to accommodate those needs? One moment it's a meeting spot, the next it's a place to relax, then somewhere to focus on solo work. Our spaces should work with us, not against us, and flex as our needs change.

Red Mountain Library recently renovated its space and also added 4 Nook Huddles giving patrons more places to sit, meet, focus, and recharge while complementing the library’s updated look.
We think the finished space looks pretty peak.
