❤️

Recovery affects the whole family.

When a mom is working to rebuild her life, she's also working toward something bigger for her children.

More stability. More opportunities to be present. More moments together that aren't overshadowed by the challenges they've faced.

And while we often talk about the hard work that goes into recovery, we don't talk enough about the importance of being able to enjoy life again.

To laugh with your child. To be fully present. To make memories together.

At Andrea's House, supporting women in recovery also means recognizing the needs of their children and the importance of strengthening those family bonds.

Because the work being done today can change what life looks like for the next generation.

🥁 THE NAMES ARE IN! 😻🐾

You helped us choose their names, and now it’s time for the big reveal!

Meet our four little survivors, officially named with a little help from the amazing community that’s been following their journey. ❤️

These kittens started out life in a pretty rough spot. Found underneath a shed at just five weeks old, they were battling an upper respiratory infection and a severe flea infestation. Thanks to the person who reached out for help, their dedicated Tiplings foster, Aubrie, and the incredible people who stepped up to care for them, they got a second chance.

Sadly, we lost one of the original five along the way. We’ll always remember that little life, and we’re especially grateful for the four who are still growing, thriving, and getting ready for their next chapter. ❤️

And now… they have NAMES! 🥰

🐾 Meet the newly named crew!

Swipe through to meet each kitten and see the names YOU helped bring to life!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who submitted suggestions and participated in the voting. You helped make this journey even more special. ❤️

🏡 THE NEXT BIG MILESTONE: ADOPTION DAY!

This Saturday, October 17, these little ones are expected to take their next big step toward finding loving forever homes!

Please follow Tiplings for the latest adoption updates and information. Be sure to check with them about availability and the adoption process before visiting.

📍 PetSmart Adoption Center
5401 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD (near Target)

Tiplings is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to rescuing cats, providing care, and helping them find safe, loving homes. They also welcome support through fostering, volunteering, donations, and sponsorships.

Even if these four aren’t your match, there are other wonderful cats and kittens who need families, too. ❤️

🚨 THE NAMING CHALLENGE HAS BEGUN! 🚨

Four tiny survivors. 😻

Four completely blank name tags.

And now it’s time for our community to help give them their names. 🐾❤️

Tiplings has given me the honor of choosing their names.
However, these kittens have already captured the hearts of so many people along the way, so I think their names should be a community effort. 💞

Let’s see what you’ve got! 👇

So here’s your mission:

Look closely at their faces. 😻

Then head to the comments and give us your BEST name ideas! Make sure to add the number of each kitten you are referring to.

Funny. Sweet. Tough. Unique. Superhero-inspired. Completely ridiculous. 😂

Anything goes!

YOU get the final say.

And remember…

These little guys and girls aren’t ready for adoption just yet.

If they all make the required 3-pound weight, they’ll be receiving their next round of veterinary care on October 9.

We’ll continue sharing their progress as they grow stronger and get closer to finding their forever homes.

So… what should we name them? 👇🐾
