💙 THE GILDED FLEUR | ANTIQUE ELEGANCE, REIMAGINED. ✨

Months in the making, and finally ready for its next chapter!

This stunning solid oak antique has been transformed with a custom 50/50 blend of Florence and Napoleonic Blue Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan, creating a rich, one-of-a-kind blue.

The ornate gold details are beautiful, but the real surprise is inside! Behind the glass door, an intricate botanical design with brass and imitation gold leaf detailing gives the interior a luxurious, jewel-box feel.

Finished with Clear Chalk Paint® Wax and carefully shadowed with Black Wax to enhance its character, texture, and beautiful antique details.

From the uniquely shaped mirror to the decorative hardware, every inch has something worth admiring.

45"W × 76"H | One of a Kind

FLASHBACK FRIDAY 🎨😍👇

Well I'm jumping the gun! (Prepare for an essay) 🤣
I couldn't wait till next week to show you all my most recent piece. It's quickly turned into one of my all time favorites ❤️🌿
It's kind of crazy, my brain was fogged and the inspiration for it was minimal. So I took it to the page and the suggestions from all of you helped clear away the fog ❤️ One that really stuck was a suggestion from a long time Facebook fan Davis. Mary suggested a soft sage green color and it took hold.
I busted out loads of Annie's colors and a and played around until I had the perfect shade.
(This mix is made by 1pt Versailles, 1pt Provence and splashes of Olive to tone it down)
My last few pieces have been quite dramatic, so something with a calmer more was exactly what I needed.
This piece is solid oak, and came from Germany. It even includes the original skeleton key!
We stripped and sanded the top, then left it natural and sealed it up with a few applications of Annie's Clear wax.
I then painted it in the custom made soft sage and 'Hello Beautiful' 💚💚💚

2020 → 2026. Same floor. Same paint. Still going. 👀
I painted my shop floor during COVID using Chalk Paint® in Athenian Black, then created the pattern with a stencil and the color Original, and sealed everything with two coats of Annie Sloan Gloss Lacquer.
Six years later, this floor has seen a lot.
Customers. Daily foot traffic. Furniture moved, shifted and dragged across it. Constant shop life.
And yet… look at it. The design is still there, the finish is still holding, and it clearly has no plans on going anywhere.
So when we say Chalk Paint® isn’t just for furniture, this is what we mean. With the right finish, you can completely transform a floor and actually live on it.
A painted floor can be beautiful and hardworking. This one has the receipts. 😉
Available at JunQtique. Come see the floor in person and ask me how to create your own.
