Happy Tuesday afternoon … it’s only a few hours until this week’ Wednesday tag sale, and we can’t flippin’ wait! Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the items that we will have available when we open at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

What’s so great about Wednesdays? In addition to new arrivals that are full price, it’s the day the discounts increase. Last week’s new arrivals that haven’t sold yet will be 20% off starting Wednesday and for the rest of the week … in addition, everything that was 20% off will be 50% off, and everthing that was 50% off will be 70% off.

Everything in this post will be available when we open at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Reminder that we don’t do online or phone holds, or online or after-hours sales … but we do accept credit card purchases over the phone (618-223-1711) starting at noon Wednesday, if the item is still available.

And please note that nobody is in the store to measure items for you outside of store hours … so unless a photo caption lists dimensions, we don’t have them … and they won’t be available until the store is open and one of the crew has a free moment to measure the item. There are always tape measures available in the store for customer use.

We’re located at 1950 Vandalia in the Orchards Shopping Center in Collinsville. Our hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday (10-5 for donations) and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (10-3 for donations).

And remember, every dollar you spend at the ReStore helps fulfill Habitat for Humanity’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live … come see us!

Well you guys, last night’s Rockin’ the House 2 benefit concert for Lewis & Clark Habitat for Humanity definitely … um … rocked the house! The show raised nearly $5,000 for the charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, and it’s a long list … including everyone who came out to show their support, bought 50/50 ticket or bid in the silent auction. Special thanks to:

Jeremy Drake, Scott Marlin and Sniffy Beagle for rockin the stage. All the musicians volunteered their time … and donated over $300 in tips at the end of the night. Soundman Kenny Greminger donated a portion of his fee. Marty and Cindy Richter covered the remainder of his fee.

Thanks to Collinsville American Legion Post 365 and their awesome staff for hosting the event, and donating use of the room.

And thanks to our silent auction donors:
LE Smith Jewelers
Jim’s Pawn & Jewelry
Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Lewis & Clark Habitat for Humanity O’Fallon Chapter
Dean’s Liquor
Karen Sheesley / RE/MAX Preferred
The Doyle Team / RE/MAX Preferred
Bert’s Chuckwagon
Kruta’s
Lonnie’s Liquor
Spirito’s
Hurricanes Bar & Grill
Ronnoco Coffee
Jean Krebs
The gentleman (we didn’t get his name) who showed up at the event with a pair of hand-painted sneakers for the auction.

The 50/50 winner (we didn’t get his name either) who donated the $560 proceeds back.

Vic Kreuiter designed the event poster and Cost Less Printing donated printing.

And the ReStore employees who spent their evening staffing the event.

You guys are all rockstars in our book … it was wonderful night!
