Experimentation has always been my favorite aspect of designing furniture.

Sometimes you begin with one thing in mind, only to end up somewhere entirely different.

It’s less of a detailed roadmap, and more of a general heading with freedom to wander. It’s the magic of the creative process.

These new sculptural pieces have been part of that creative process, and I look forward to sharing some new experimental pieces with you this Fall.

Interrupting your doom scroll with a slow video of Cassian Cabinet samples being made this afternoon.

We’re blown away by your response to our new Cassian collection, and look forward to sharing more of it with you soon.

Sometimes the artistry comes from what the craftsman does to the material.

Others, it’s more about finding the least amount that can be done to capture and enhance the material’s inherent beauty.

The real trick is knowing which path to take.

Do you get our monthly Trade & Craft Journal?

It’s a place where we give first looks at new concepts, share our favorite collaborations, and offer thoughts on design that we’ve been contemplating.

The SEVRO Series is the first concept we’ve introduced purely as sculpture.

All of our signature designs have actually started as sculptural panels, but haven’t been released until they were adapted for furniture use.

Now, we’re changing that.

All of our signature concepts are now available as sculptural artwork - Mobley, Orthos, Monroe, Vandalism, etc.

Likewise, all new sculptural pieces we introduce can also be commissioned as furniture.

We have some really fun things in the works, and can wait to share more with you.

Still not over this bronze texture.

And it seems like you aren’t either.

Thanks for all the kind words and inquiries on our new Cassian collection!

We’re looking forward to sharing more soon.

The Cassian cabinet is a piece that stops you in your tracks, and compels you forward for a closer look.

Each cabinet is entirely bespoke - planned, shaped, and finished by hand, so no two come out quite the same.

It’s shown here in solid American walnut and aged bronze, but will be offered in all of our signature wood and metal finishes (and even a few new ones that we’re developing).

We’re glad to finally share this one, and we’re looking forward to seeing where it lands.

First proper new design from our new design studio, and it may be my favorite new concept we’ve put out in awhile.

You won’t want to miss it.

This bespoke Desmond Cabinet is one of my favorite pieces we’ve done in awhile.

It’s actually a hybrid of our Clarke & Desmond cabinet designs, pulling some of the best elements from each, and offering a really beautiful balance of texture and elegance. It’s made from solid Walnut, with hand-turned legs, and solid unlacquered brass hardware.

As with each of our Desmond cabinets, it features a troweled Venetian plaster front, which is sealed with natural wax, and hand-buffed to a low luster.

It’s headed up to NY next week, and we look forward to seeing how incorporates it into her latest project.

Bespoke Wynton Cabinet in Walnut & Aged Brass

Our Wynton Cabinet has flown under the radar since we first introduced it, but it’s one of my absolute favorites.

The brass mesh adds a subtle layer of visual interest that elevates the piece, but doesn’t call for attention.

Paired with the traditional joinery, aged brass hardware, and waterfall grain, this Wynton is one of the more handsome iterations we’ve done.
