Dear friends, it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that our dear Tracy Gillespie passed away unexpectedly on August 29th at home.

Tracy was much loved by her employers, coworkers and many of you for her excellent service and sparkling personality during the 30 years she was at Bart Fireside. Never afraid to share her copious knowledge about all things related to the hearth business, Tracy always said that her first goal was to inform and let the customer make a decision. Her steadfast dutiful commitment to ethical, personal-based service is a benchmark for us all.

A visitation for friends and family will be held this Saturday, September 12th from 4-6pm at Shives Funeral Home at 7600 Trenholm Road Extension, Columbia, SC 29223.

Her family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be given to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.

Thank you to all of you who have already expressed your heartfelt condolences. We miss her dearly!
