Some of us are exhausted from fighting battles that haven’t even happened yet.

We’re worried about next week. The conversation that hasn’t happened. The bill that isn’t due yet. The decision we haven’t had to make. The thing we’re afraid might go wrong.

And while we’re carrying tomorrow, we miss what God is doing today.

Jesus said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34

That doesn’t mean life will always be easy. It means you were never meant to carry every day at once.

God will give you what you need for today. And when tomorrow comes, He’ll meet you there too.

So today, put down what hasn’t happened yet.

Be present. Love your people. Thank God for what’s in front of you. And trust Him with what’s around the corner.

You don’t have to know what tomorrow holds when you know Who holds tomorrow.

Lord, quiet the fear in us about things we cannot control. Help us trust You with tomorrow and be faithful with today. Amen.

Happy Sunday. 🙏
