What’s trending in countertops for 2026 and 2027? Here’s what people are asking for in our showroom right now:

Warm colors. Cream, beige, and taupe are taking over from bright white and cool gray.

Softer finishes. Matte and leathered stone, with less shine and fewer fingerprints.

Real stone. Granite and quartzite with calm, soft veining.

Rounded edges. They feel better on your arm and chip less.

Waterfall islands. The stone runs down the sides all the way to the floor.

Our honest take after 20+ years? Real stone in simple, warm colors will still look right 15 years from now. Save the bold stuff for things that are easy to change, like paint, lighting, and bar stools.

Hosting soon, but your kitchen reno has to wait? You can still pull it off. Here are 3 easy things to try:

1. Clear the counters. Put the toaster, the mail, and the extra stuff away. Bare counters make any kitchen look bigger and cleaner, even an older one.

2. Keep the food simple. Fire up the grill, order in, or put out a big snack board. Less cooking means less mess and less stress, and you get to enjoy your own party.

3. Let in the light. Open the blinds and turn on lamps. Warm light makes a room feel bigger and more welcoming, and it hides a lot.

Not sure which one fits your home? We put together a simple guide on the most popular edge profiles. No jargon, just what you need to know.

Read it at the link then come by the showroom and see the real samples in your hand.

GOLD.

It just works. Warm metals like gold and brass pick up the little warm tones hiding in most stone, even light ones like this. That's why a kitchen with gold hardware almost never looks off.

Quick tip: warm stone pairs best with warm metal. Cool stone (think gray or icy white) usually looks better with chrome or black.

Not sure what matches your kitchen? Bring us a photo of your hardware. We'll help you find the right stone.
