He gained a strong appreciation for handiwork through his years in 4-H, working predominantly with wood and leather. With exposure to drafting classes in high school, a real passion for engineering emerged and led him to the Milwaukee School of Engineering. His career has been entirely focused on product development, designing anything from faucets to construction equipment.
