The Westside Flip

Another pain in the patootie. Lesson learned - some paint does not stay well after time… This one took some painting, paint remover, painting, paint remover, painting… You get the gist.

I bought this little table slowly to use the legs for the cabinet I made and then decided to get new legs because I thought the table top was cute… I’m half tempted to keep this one!

This was a tough one.. given to me by a friendly neighbor, this old piece needed quite a bit of work! With a lot of scrubbing, some demolition, and a bit of heavy paint scraping… let’s just say I’m a bit exhausted!

This secretary desk was a doozy. While it was originally pretty cute when I bought it, the individual that refinished it had really caked the paint on. I thought it would be a fun refinish but it took A LOT of work. Sanding off the blue (which almost didn’t happen) turned me into a Smurf, and i ended up having to buy paint stripper. Some projects are more fun than others :)

It’s been a minute since I’ve been at work, but I’m slowly back in action! I sold this black piece last week and recently listed this secretary desk

We inherited my great grandmother‘s dining table, and unfortunately, it was time for it to get a makeover due to somewhere and tear. We ended up painting the top, but wanted to keep a little bit of the wood “history” … we fell in the cream to a solid coat. I’m still not super happy with it.

Just sold this dainty little end table!
