We recently completed some beautiful pachanga tables..(party tables) for our friends at the Racks and Reels ranch!
These two beautiful antique red oak tables are made to be pushed together for the after hunt feasts, featuring gun racks in either end of one of the tables for hunter’s to set their gear and guns and enjoy the their end of hunt refreshment.
These red oak beams were rough cut and had set outside for many years allowing the water to pe*****te the wood and develop all the amazing color you see in the table tops. We had a small stash of this hard to find material that we have made many gorgeous tables and doors out of, sadly this was the last of it. But there is no question that it was the right material for this project. We use new red oak for the bases and legs making the whole take solid red oak.
Thank you to the wonderful family at the Racks and Reels Ranch for trusting us to build these for them.
We finished them a while back but had to keep it secret until they were unveiled to the owner as a surprise gift.
