#377 🪴 “A Natural Reveal” (not for sale, client’s piece)

🪴 Thinking of this dresser and what it looked like before and then now what it looks like after, what a difference it makes with a natural reveal of the wood underneath. Topped with a satin polycrylic sealer, it’s the perfect compliment for the new room it now calls home.

🪴 This reminds me too of getting ready for bed at night and removing makeup. The natural look of skin, topped with a moisturizer, what a lovely way to enhance one’s beauty!

🪴 Details:
With the normal prep work of cleaning, I then used a carbide scraper and sander to gently remove the previous look.
Finished with Varathane polycrylic sealer - satin finish.
Wood conditioned the inside/outside sides and slides of drawers with Howards Feed and Wax.

🪴 Romans 1:17 “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.””
♥️🙌🏻

#375 - 💌 “Living Letters” (not for sale, client’s piece)

💌 What a blessing it was to once again be able to pray over a piece and that is so dear to a family that is close to my heart. Knowing this family very well, I’ve had the honor to receive hand written notes so thoughtfully and creatively curated.

💌 This treasured heirloom is one that will hold future moments of written fonts, letters and perhaps even books. As I worked, a message was being spoken of how our lives are living letters for others to see Jesus, without words even being said. The impact I know this darling is making for others all around her, is a living letter being written each day.

💌 2 Corinthians 10:9 “
Such people should realize that what we are in our letters when we are absent, we will be in our actions when we are present.”

Living letters, sealed with His hand.

💌 DETAILS:

Dixie Belle chalk paint - Caviar
Varathane - Provincial Gel Stain
Varathane - polycrylic sealed - satin finish
Amazon - new drawer liner
Dixie Belle - Bronze gilding wax

#368- #374 🙏🏻 "We Will Remember" (not for sale, clients table/chair set)

🙏🏻 What an honor it was to add my Klok Creations touch to this dining table and chair set for a sweet friend and her family. As I worked, I had many songs and messages that played on a certain radio station I was listening too. One thing that resounded over and over through many, was even through difficult times we walk through, remember, God is right there to be balm for our soul.

🙏🏻 Knowing this family and the things they hold close in their heart, I envision the many times their family gathered around this table...who may have sat in each seat, the conversations, laughs and the memories made that they will treasure tightly.
I think about how even when they walk through such tender times this family clings to the Lord, remembering...remembering his attributes.

🙏🏻 Psalm 78:35 "They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer."

Thank you God for being the Rock on which we can stand, even when life is so hard.

🙏🏻 DETAILS:
Chairs and Table base paint: Custom color match from Menards
Pittsburgh Fast Dry - Cabinet/Trim - Satin finish
Top - Stained to match new kitchen cabinets - Old Masters - "Dark Mahogany"
Everything sealed with Varathane - polycrylic satin finish

(NOTE: upholstery done by someone else)
