The Eclectic Salvage
/noun/ thuh ek-lek-tik sal-vij
————————————————————————
A thrift shop with an eclectic mix of pre-loved clothing, home goods, decor, and vintage treasures of different styles and eras. We give items a second chance — salvaging them to find a new home and a new life, so they don't eventually end up in a landfill. A quiet kind of redemption, much like Jesus did for us.

Life looks a little different these days. Austin and I lived in our garage at the new house so all the kids could have their own bedrooms - we had plans to remodel it into a master. Now most of the kiddos have grown and flown the nest (my momma heart is NOT okay about how fast that happened) and it's just us and Josiah.

So we moved into an actual bedroom and cleaned the garage out to be a real garage again - which we desperately needed! Now it doubles as a dog & cat room + a little hangout corner for Josiah and his friends.

As you can see, the fur babies are spoiled rotten - cushions fluffed and sprawled out without a care in the world. 🐾❤️. I’m sure this is what they’ve been doing the whole time while patiently awaiting mom to come home from Branson!

Josiah just came in with his own birthday gifts for me. He has the biggest heart! Love my kids so much! Thank you, buddy! I love you!

If I could go back, I would go back to when you were all babies in my arms.

I would take every bit of wisdom and strength I have now and bring her with me. So you could have the better version of me you always deserved from the very beginning.

You didn't get that. You got a broken, hurting, young girl who had no idea what she was doing or how to cope with life. A girl who loved you more than life itself, but was still learning how to love herself.

I wish I could change so many things. It still pains my heart when I think about the mistakes I made and the hard things we walked through together.

But I testify with pride about what Jesus did for me and for my children's lives. Only God could take a story like ours - real trauma, real loss, real brokenness - and turn it into this.

We have the best relationships today. Not because I was perfect, but because He never left us. Because grace covered what I couldn't.

I am still here. Standing. So much more grown. A mama who fought to be here, fully here, and a woman just trying to fulfill a small dream of owning this little thrift shop and being the very best I can be at it.

I share this here because I want you to know I am a real person. This shop is part of my testimony too. Every piece I salvage and bring back to life reminds me that beautiful things can be broken and still become something wonderful again. Just like Jesus did for us.

Thank you for supporting my shop, my family, and my story. It means more than you will ever know. 🤍
