I was fortunate enough to visit the Grand Palais, where Le Trésor retrouvé du Roi-Soleil—The Rediscovered Treasure of the Sun King—was on display. The carpets were woven at the Manufacture de la Savonnerie, a royal workshop founded in 1626 specifically for luxurious pile carpets, while the accompanying tapestries came from the Gobelins and Beauvais manufactories. 🇨🇵

The Louvre at night hits differently—Way less hectic than daytime, too.

It’s one of those views that makes you stop mid-walk and just stand there for a minute.

I love working in Paris — this is the apartment I’m renovating and where I stay whenever I’m here. I adore discovering new places, hidden gems, and all the wonderful shops the city has to offer. A rainy day wandering the Marché aux Puces just outside Paris, and I couldn’t be happier. The showers didn’t stop anyone—from the vendors to the treasure hunters like me—from admiring all the beautiful pieces and one‑of‑a‑kind finds.
