This photoshoot got extra sauce because I'm trying to get the attention of and show them what I can do.

But I'm also personally invested because this is my own motorcycle, my own studio, my own design choice. I had 100% creative control because nobody paid me to do this. I just wanted to do it.

The staging. The lighting design. The smoke design. The color, the feel, the style. Then the graphic design on top. Every frame here is all of my skills working together at once.

And that's one of the cool things about my career as a creative. My skills keep advancing and I can see myself getting better and constantly leveling up.

It's a very cool process to watch.

Complete creative freedom is what I live for. I know it's not always the case, but when an idea hits and I get to cook, I impress myself sometimes. Getting what's in my head out where other people can see the value in it is the best feeling there is.

We joined for one of their training days. Met a ton of the fun faces in the company and got to witness the culture that they enjoy every day.

Seriously this was one of the happiest most joyful companies we've ever been around.

Some people think culture doesn't really matter... YEAH RIGHT!!!

When your employee's enjoy what they do every day, feel respected and valued, and are encouraged to laugh... You are doing it right!

These guys were such a blast to hang out with and their CEO is the chief goofy guy on site.

Media almost always shows up as an afterthought. The job wraps, the machine ships, the project finishes, and then someone realizes there's nothing to show for it. The work was great. The proof is gone.

Up here in Canada when the lakes are all frozen, we plow a race track on the ice, stud the tires, and go full send in the ice drifting race cars.

It's an absolute blast of a time EVERY TIME!

You cannot engage in this activity without huge smiles on everyone's face.

We're close to ice season again and you can feel that people are getting ready to tear it up out there!

Leadership in heavy construction doesn't just happen in a boardroom. It happens at 5:30 AM in a gravel pit, sometimes with cold coffee and a machine that won't turn over.

The best foremen, supers, and operators I've been around all had one thing in common. They never asked a crew to do something they wouldn't do themselves.

Real leadership on site looks like:
• Showing up before the crew does
• Owning the mistake before blaming the machine
• Knowing every guy's job well enough to respect it
• Making the safe call when the schedule is screaming

Anyone can lead when the dirt is moving and the weather's perfect. Character shows when it's raining, the excavator is down, and the deadline didn't move.
