Recently completed a job at a church. I remade all the pew arms. They were partial board wrapped with a little solid wood and veneer. Now they are solid oak.

And it's fixed!

It's easy to post about all the beautiful work that goes as planned. But sometimes mistakes happen. I think what happened here is a case of being in a hurry. When a product says dry to the touch in 30 minutes and reapply after 2 hours, maybe it's for this reason. I think this is due to off gassing. Since I had applied so many coats in a short time, it had nowhere to go. So it caused bubbles and poor adhesion. So now that extra wait time is being converted to extra work time. It will be fixed and it will be wonderful. But for now, it's more work that could have probably been avoided. This was a product I've never used before. Maybe if I had let it finish curing in the shop before putting it outside, perhaps it would have been fine. Take your time folks. It's worth the wait.

Before, during and after of today's pantry install. The counter top will be installed in about a week. (by Jeremy Skinner, Faith with Works.) I'll see about getting a picture after the counter is in as well. Update : Project Completed!
