Next up in our āAt Home with Knilansā series, weāre featuring store owner, Tim Schlicksup, and the story behind one of his favorite spaces in his home, the Hearth Room.
"The elements of Harvey Ellis designs have always been my favorite pieces from Stickley. I just love the intricate inlays and how they contrast the rich tones of the hardwoods, both quartersawn oak and black cherry. Simple and clean the lines resonate with me and were the perfect choice for our hearth room. This is the place were friends and family gather for a warm and cozy exchange. Though I love the smell a wood burning fireplace, it is hard to beat the convenience of the Waterford gas stove. One flip of the switch and this space warms in an instant. The picture windows welcome the out-of-doors in and the skylights allow for additional warmth and natural light into the space. All of these elements make it feel even better than it looks!"
š” Weāre inviting you into the homes of our Knilansā Furniture team to explore the spaces they love living in every day. Behind every designer is a home filled with personal style, meaningful details, and favorite finds. ā¤ļø Keep your eye out for this series as we continue to share more over the next couple of weeks!
