A Place at the Table

As the days grow shorter and the holidays approach, we think of family and friends and the pleasure in sharing a meal together. This handsome Amish-crafted dining set brings warmth, character and lasting craftsmanship to the heart of your home. We have many beautiful choices - just in time for your special occasion!

Several staff were happy to see some new lamps arrive this week and we thought we should share a group photo (of lamps, that is). We have a large selection of lamps as well as lampshades, AND, our 15% off sale continues through the fall. We would enjoy helping you light up your rooms!

LILY & ROSE / DESIGN FEATURES
Sometimes a room needs only one change to feel entirely different.

A distinctive console or sofa table can introduce a new shape, texture, or character to a familiar space. Rearrange a few favorite pieces around it, and suddenly the room has a fresh perspective

A little imagination can accomplish more than an entire makeover.

The BOSS chose the corner of Native American themed art. This corner is designated just for his special choices - he is particularly fond of these. Our 15% off prices continues this fall, an added bonus. Come take a look at the gallery walls!

Round & Linear. Shape and scale. Rooms get more interesting when shapes disagree a little. The unexpected. And then there is a little bird...

Not your ordinary console table.
We like the curved top, dark wood and especially those sculptural cutout legs.

Fits with transitional, rustic or eclectic interiors. A little unexpected character!

A small redo! Rethink your curio cabinet or bookshelf. Change it up for collectibles, things that interest you - books, boxes, shells, photos and favorite objects. Vary the scale on each shelf treating each shelf as its own vignette - leaving a little breathing room - and let the unexpected do the talking. A shelf or cabinet can hold a collection without looking collected.

Lily & Rose staff member picked this large dresser because "it's new but old" and mixes with her eclectic style. Besides having a large amount of storage space, it has Old World character with a warm presence without feeling formal.

Who is not thinking about cooler, crisper days and nights ahead? Cozy it up for fall without adding seasonal decorations - it's about changing texture. Add textiles to leather - a wool throw or other natural materials, then trade overhead light for table lamps and layered lighting. A few contrasts can add cheer without adding clutter.
