Purpose and Pine

This beetle kill river table finally made its way out to Philly. Two live edge locally sourced slabs and a plasma cut metal river to flow between them. Pretty excited with how this one turned out.

After showing this piece at fairs and festivals for the last year, we decided to re-finish this walnut slab and put it up for sale at 'Colorado Furniture.' Located right off 285 in Conifer, its a great store with an extensive collection of unique furniture and decor. This piece in particular is one of our favorites and was built with locally salvaged black walnut.

Recently delivered this piece and it was an incredible journey. We salvaged this tree from the client's front yard roughly three years ago and after milling up about 100 slabs, we used two of the most beautiful and inlaid a glass river to create this project.

These Denver skylines were our #1 seller at the Spring 🌆🏞We are stocking up with a wide variety of colors and designs for this weekend’s festivities. We can also create them custom, so stop by this weekend and pick one up- or let us know what design you’d like and we’ll make it for you!

Wrapped up these two complementary beetle kill shelving units recently for a great client in Boulder. Stained beetle kill lumber with raw steel is a great combo with a simple and modern look👀


The shoe rack was a very basic piece with strict parameters, but for the bookshelf, the client gave us some creative liberties to create a unique and original piece

👰🏼When my future wife asked me to build her a tv stand, arrows, and a sign for our front room, how could I say no ?


🎨This piece, the arrows and the sign were all made out of 100% recycled wood that we painted & stained together .


🛠This project truly represents what we strive to create for our customers. She found a piece similar on Pinterest, we designed this one together, and were able to paint and stain it to match the decor in the rest of the room .

Purpose and Pine always was and continues to be an ever-changing and challenging profession. The one consistency for its entire existence has been the continued optimism, support and encouragement that provides. She has been, and always will be my better half of the business. She knows that running a small business has its ups and downs, but there is no other person in the world I would rather have by my side to make the good times great, and the bad times better .
