Taking a trip down memory lane to our very first wall … tapped us to create a feature wall to help define Wenger’s retail presence on Boulder’s Pearl St Mall.
We designed the wall using beetle-kill pine, to loosely represent Boulder’s topography. It was a really fun project, collaborating with fine folks.

Hey there Instagrammers! For those new to Sjotime Industries, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I’m Dan Sjogren, owner and founder. Together with Jacob Levek, my amazing assistant, we design and build residential furniture as well as custom commercial projects here in Denver. We recently celebrated our 12th year in business! 🥳
Now for some fun facts you maybe didn’t know:
As a third-generation Denver native, Washington Park was (and still is) my happy place; one of my earliest memories is my great-grandfather teaching me how to fish (near where I’m standing in this photo). These days I prefer eating to catching fish.
I studied music and history at CU-Boulder.
Music is my second language; I play saxophone and occasionally jam with the Otone Brass Band. Spanish is my third language, with French a very distant fourth.
While getting my degree in Industrial Design, I frequently helped younger classmates with their writing, and earned the nickname ‘Old Man Speller.’
The best way to Pepper’s (our very occasional shop dog’s) heart is through treats.
