I absolutely love how this knife came out. Hand forged from a leaf spring off an old Chevy Suburban, this knife has a combo scale handle crafted from grey dyed white oak, blue G10 spacers, purple leopard wood, and mammoth tooth enamel with white G10 and bone paper micarta spacer.

Well, I have kept you in suspense long enough. Here is the finished product of the copper layered knives, or CU Mai. I have been testing these knives, the weight, the feel of the handle, the durability of the finish, etc.

I love it when I get the opportunity to do a project like this. Patinas can be frustrating because there are many variables that effect the outcome, but getting a final outcome that looks so good is so satisfying!
