Saturday Morning at Piney Hollow Wood Craft! 🇺🇸

Another productive morning in the shop!

Dad has been keeping the CNC running, cutting hardwood plaques and getting orders ready for the laser engraving process. Meanwhile, I’ve been working on a custom poplar drawer order.

Two different projects, one shop, and the same commitment to quality.

One of the things we’re proudest of at Piney Hollow is being a family-owned American manufacturer. Since 2018, we’ve continued to improve our equipment, production processes, and capabilities while staying true to the craftsmanship that started it all.

Whether it’s a single custom project or a production run of hardwood plaques, there’s always something moving through the shop.

The 2026 Hunting Season Is Here

Hunting seasons are beginning to open across the country, and that means a new year of stories, traditions, and memories in the field.

We’re already starting to see the first orders of the season come through the Piney Hollow shop. State plaques are being cut from solid hardwood and personalized to preserve the details behind each hunt.

Another great example of our Piney Hollow solid hardwood arrowhead plaques put to work! 🦃

These turkey mounts were finished by M & Oak Taxidermy using our hardwood arrowheads, each laser engraved with a detailed turkey design. Built from real hardwood right here in Pennsylvania!

A pretty special one for us here at Piney Hollow!

We recently had the opportunity to create this custom Long Island hardwood award plaque honoring Brandon Bussi of the Carolina Hurricanes as the Suffolk County Sportsperson of the Year.

Seeing a piece that was made right here in our Pennsylvania shop presented alongside the Stanley Cup was something we certainly won’t forget and seeing it featured in the New York Post made it even better!

A big thank you to Suffolk Sports for trusting Piney Hollow Wood Craft with this award and giving us the opportunity to be a small part of such a special event. We truly appreciate it.

27 custom hardwood awards headed to the Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia State Shoot.

This is our third year building plaques for the event, and honestly projects like this are exactly why we built Piney Hollow.

There’s something special about taking rough hardwood and turning it into awards people will hang onto for years. Every plaque goes through our in-house production process—from CNC cutting and engraving to hand finishing and final inspection—allowing us to produce large custom runs while still keeping the craftsmanship and character of real wood.

No plastic trophies. No generic imports. Just American hardwood, clean design, and awards that actually feel earned.

Over the years, we’ve continued to refine and streamline our manufacturing systems here at Piney Hollow. What started as one-off builds has turned into a dialed-in process—allowing us to produce consistent, high-quality plaques in volume while still keeping that handcrafted feel.
