Natural or synthetic? Maybe that’s not the right question.
When it comes to vitamins, the source alone doesn’t tell the whole story.
Your body responds to chemical form, dose, digestion, absorption and individual biology not simply the words “natural” or “synthetic” on a label.
For example, NIH notes that supplemental ascorbic acid can have equivalent bioavailability to naturally occurring vitamin C in foods. And with vitamin B12, different supplemental forms do not automatically mean different absorption rates.
So before choosing a supplement, ask better questions:
→ What form is it?
→ What dose am I taking?
→ How is it absorbed?
→ What does the evidence actually show?
Don’t let the label make the decision for you.
Understand the biology behind it.
